Active Older Adults Wanted. Help Another Senior Stay Independent 're the kind of person who checks in on people. Maybe you've spent years cooking meals and keeping up a household, for your own family, a spouse, or someone else who needed you. Maybe your job history doesn't look anything like caregiving, or maybe you never had what most people would call a  career  at all because you were busy taking care of people instead.

None of that matters here. What matters is that you want to help someone stay independent in their own home, and you'd like to get paid fairly for it.

We will be serving clients throughout Pasadena, Altadena, South Pasadena, San Marino, Eagle Rock, Hastings Ranch, East Pasadena, Temple City, Glendale, La Cañada Flintridge, La Crescenta, Montrose, and Verdugo City.

We're looking for you if:

You're an active adult who wants meaningful, flexible work, not just a paycheck.

Recently retired or semi-retired? That’s great! This is peer-to-peer work: active seniors caring for fellow seniors – we have no age restrictions though.

You know what it takes to care for someone, maybe because you've already done it for a family member, paid or not.

You've been looking for work that actually uses what you already know how to do.

You have a valid California driver's license and a reliable, insured vehicle (many clients need help getting to appointments).If any of that sounds like you, we want to talk.

What we take care of for you:

Paid training, no caregiving background required.

Flexible hours built around your availability, part-time and full-time both welcome.

What the work actually looks like:

Non-medical companionship and support. Depending on the match, that might mean light housework, meal prep, medication reminders, driving to appointments, or help with daily activities like bathing and dressing. If you've ever cared for kids, an aging parent, in-law, or neighbor, even informally and unpaid, that counts as real experience. Chances are you already know more about this than you think.

What does the role pay?
