Manager, Enterprise Systems

Overview

This role requires candidates who are currently authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, and C2C arrangements are not accepted. This role is onsite. The Manager, Enterprise Systems is a senior IT leadership role responsible for aligning enterprise technology initiatives with business objectives. This position leads and mentors a team of functional analysts and developers (employees and consultants) and oversees the delivery, support, and optimization of enterprise systems.

The role requires a strategic mindset, strong stakeholder engagement, and hands‑on enterprise application experience.

• Lead, mentor, and hold accountable a team of analysts and developers across enterprise systems initiatives.
• Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to understand needs, analyze processes, and define system requirements.
• Formalize proposed changes, including scope, requirements, and documentation.
• Evaluate “buy vs. build” decisions and research technology solutions aligned with business strategy.
• Oversee enterprise system maintenance, enhancements, and lifecycle management.
• Promote best practices in systems implementation, documentation, governance, and change control.
• Develop and review business-facing and technical documentation (charters, requirements, ROI analysis, project plans, user documentation).
• Apply established project management methodologies to deliver value on time and within budget.
• Analyze system performance metrics and ROI; adjust solutions to address gaps or underperformance.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to identify use cases, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Support vendor evaluation, vendor management, and contract negotiations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in an enterprise IT environment, including people leadership.
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle JD Edwards (JDE), with strong emphasis on the Finance module.
• Experience working with enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, AP automation, timekeeping, or related systems.
• Strong communication skills, including executive‑level presentations and written documentation.
• Proven ability to manage resources, timelines, and budgets.
• Understanding of application programming concepts, databases, and system design.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project or similar).
• Experience with risk analysis, vendor management, and negotiation.

• Experience with platforms such as IFS, Salesforce, Bid Management tools, AP Automation, or Timekeeping systems.
