Full Time Regular Technician Pasadena, CA, US

Salary Range: $32.13 To $32.13 Hourly

Sai Tech is looking for a Personal Computer Support Technician (PCST) supporting the NASA Office of JPL Management and Oversight (NOJMO) at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, CA.

Responsibilities include:

• Timely and professional delivery of hardware or services.
• Providing courteous, solution-oriented support that builds trust and ensures a positive customer experience during every interaction.
• Installation and configuration of managed software.
• Perform technical, operational, and training support to users of personal computers either by telephone or on-site, to include deskside or Space Bar walkup for hardware and software packages.
• Install and test personal computers, printers, and other peripherals.
• Configuring operating systems.
• Troubleshooting computer problems, performing hardware and software diagnostics, and coordinating needed repairs.
• Resolving computer system problems to include the coordination between users and components of a local area networks.
• Participation in the evaluation of system configuration and software.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School degree or equivalent
• 2 years of related experience
• Must be U.S. Citizen
• Must be able to lift & move equipment up to 40 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting a NASA IT environment
• Troubleshooting & resolving IT issues
• Familiarity with NASA security policies & procedures
• Current NASA background check & confidence level
