Overview
Executive Legal Recruiter | LHH | CA Licensed Attorney. Our client, a boutique firm based in Southern California, is hiring a Patent Prosecution Attorney with 1+ years of experience in their Pasadena office. In this role, you will work on cutting-edge IP matters for a diverse and fast-paced client base, primarily composed of venture-backed startup companies in highly technical fields.

Responsibilities- Draft, file, and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications
- Respond to USPTO office actions and conduct examiner interviews
- Collaborate with clients, inventors, and outside counsel
- Analyze invention disclosures and conduct prior art searches
- 1+ years of experience in patent prosecution
- USPTO Registration
- A strong technical background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field
- JD from an accredited university
- Active membership in at least one U.S. State Bar
- Base Salary Range: $120K-$180K+ (DOE)
- Bonus eligibility and amount are based upon company and/or individual performance
