Construction Litigation Corporate Counsel

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Construction Litigation Corporate Counsel in Pasadena, CA.

Responsibilities:

* Handle complex construction litigation matters and insurance defense cases

* Collaborate directly with senior executives to align legal strategies with business objectives

* Provide guidance on construction law, statutory remedies, and contract drafting/review

* Support data-driven decision-making and assist in developing KPIs for outside counsel (details to be finalized with hiring manager)

* Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations while mitigating risk across the organization
* JD from an ABA-accredited law school;
Active California Bar membership required

* Minimum 4 years of litigation experience

* Proven expertise in construction litigation, including Construction defects;
Insurance defense

* Prior law firm training required;
Corporate/in-house experience acceptable only if litigation background is strong

* Strong communication skills and ability to present complex legal concepts to executives
