Position Profile

Weaver is looking for an experienced and motivated Audit Senior Manager or Director to join our growing Labor and Benefits team. As an Audit Senior Manager or Director at Weaver, you will play a pivotal role in growing the Labor and Benefits practice in Pasadena and continuing to deliver exceptional service to our clients across all stages of the audit process.

An Audit Senior Manager or Director also fosters the professional growth and development of Associates, Senior Associates, Supervisors, and Managers on the team through mentorship and training. Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Active CPA license
  • 7+ years of public accounting experience or its equivalent
  • Experience working with complex employee benefit plans (e.g., multi-employer, defined-benefit and defined-contribution, health & welfare, etc.) as well as labor unions and non-profit audits
  • Possess technical knowledge sufficient to supervise Associates, Senior Associates, Supervisors, and Managers
  • Strong relationship management and practice development skills
  • Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients

Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop staff
  • Demonstrates independent thinking and strong decision-making skills
  • Team orientation and strong interpersonal skills
Compensation and Benefits

At Weaver, our most valuable resource is our people. We take the time to evaluate our employees’ wants and needs and invest our resources accordingly. A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location. In addition to compensation packages, Weaver offers competitive health benefits, such as medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
