The Judge Group is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager for a food manufacturing company located in the Los Angeles area.

• Oversee daily sanitation and food safety compliance with GMPs.
• Drive product quality improvements and continuous process enhancements.
• Manage sample submissions and coordinate with third-party labs.
• Lead SQF, regulatory, and supplier audits; ensure compliance with USDA, FDA, Halal, and Organic standards.
• Maintain HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs, allergen programs, and training initiatives.
• Develop and verify SOPs impacting food safety and quality.
• Manage product development documentation, labeling, and specifications.
• Ensure proper equipment calibration and hazardous waste compliance.
• Provide food safety training and foster a strong food safety culture.
• Supervise Quality Control Technicians and oversee staffing needs.
• Prepare annual budgets and collaborate on capital projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field.
• 5–10 years in food manufacturing quality or safety roles.
• HACCP-certified Practitioner; strong knowledge of USDA/FDA regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred; flexible for overtime or off shifts.
