Responsibilities- Develop novel techniques to separate geophysical signals from noise using InSAR and GPS.
- Combine GNSS and InSAR data to image transients and investigate the spatiotemporal relation with earthquakes, tremor, and tectonic loading.
- Utilize multiple satellite and airborne InSAR data to develop time series and deformation maps for resolving fault slip/locking and transient faulting.
- Integrate surface deformation observations with numerical modeling techniques to model fault mechanics and earthquake cycle dynamics.
- Doctoral Degree (PhD) in Earth Science, Geodesy, Geophysics, or related field.
- U.S. Citizen, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or eligible foreign national for a J-1 visa.
- Experience with space geodetic measurements such as InSAR and GNSS.
- Degree:
Doctoral Degree. - U.S. Citizens.
- U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents (LPR).
- Foreign Nationals eligible for an Exchange Visitor J-1 visa status.
- Applicants for LPR, asylees, or refugees in the U.S. at the time of application with a valid EAD card and pending I-485 or I-589 forms.
