Starting Rate: $18.05 per hour

Smart & Final invites energetic individuals to join our store operations team as a Part-time Retail Associate. This role focuses on delivering friendly customer service, maintaining store cleanliness, and stocking merchandise.

• Stock merchandise and set up promotional displays using proper equipment.
• Ensure accurate pricing, validate product dates, and maintain proper rotation.
• Prepare perishable products for sale and maintain sanitation standards inside and outside the store.
• Assist customers with product information, offer friendly assistance, and load purchases when requested.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties, record lost/damaged goods, and manage store supplies.

• Read and write English, interact with the general public and co-workers.
• Follow simple instructions, understand product labeling and shelf tags.
• Write simple correspondence and present information in small group situations.
• Lift and/or move up to 25 lb regularly, up to 45 lb frequently, up to 60 lb occasionally.
• Basic PC and Outlook skills (extra awesome).
• Retail Management Certificate (optional).
