• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks
• When guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs
• Make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest and assist with application or sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy
• Understand and show guests how to use features and offerings within the Target App including Wallet
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering, and direct guests to enroll, activate and use these features
• Process returns following register prompts; partner with immediate Leaders as needed to help solve for the guest while following Target’s policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area by gathering unpurchased items, baskets, and hangers for removal
• Stock supplies during store open hours while being available for the guest
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work in a safe manner and report hazards
• Support guest services such as order pickup (OPU), Drive-up (DU) Orders, DU Returns and maintain compliance with laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• Ability to educate guests about products and services
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other tech equipment; work independently or on a team
• Remain focused in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within time frames

• Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office operations as needed
• Scan, handle and move merchandise safely (lifting up to 10 pounds frequently; up to 44 pounds occasionally)
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift
• Work in varying temperatures and conditions (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.)
