Software Test Engineer

The Software Test Engineer will develop and perform software verification testing. The role involves a strong understanding of the software development life cycle in alignment with AS9100 standards, focusing on requirement verifications, test methods, and conducting root cause/corrective action investigations. The position also requires verification of flight hardware, development of test cases, and creating ground software for verification testing. Additionally, the engineer will devise test procedures to validate software operations and conduct unit tests for regression analysis and requirements verification.

• Develop and perform software verification testing.
• Verify flight hardware and develop test cases.
• Create ground software for verification testing.
• Devise test procedures to ensure correct software operation.
• Perform unit tests for regression analysis and requirements verification.
• Align testing processes with AS9100 standards.
• Conduct root cause and corrective action investigations.

• Proficient with Python development.
• Experience in software regression testing for 1 years.
• Familiarity with AS9100 standards.
• Understanding of C/C .
• Knowledge of test procedures and validation techniques.

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with tool chains and version control systems.
• Understanding of space and defense requirements.
• Experience with test equipment and hardware/software testing.

Work Environment:
The Software Test Engineer will work alongside a team of 4-5 Embedded Software Developers to test and verify new systems. The role offers an opportunity to lead the Software Verification team, supporting both defense and lunar programs, including Gateway and Artemis. The work environment encourages collaboration with the Software Development leadership team.

The pay range for this position is $55.00 – $62.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
