Product Marketing Manager at Redgate About the role

What you'll do
  • Spearhead the development and execution of the go-to-market strategy for the Database Change Management product line.
  • Collaborate closely with sales leadership, enterprise sales teams, and marketing departments to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
  • Serve as a crucial liaison between the US market and the product teams based in the UK, facilitating communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis, competitor assessments, and buyer research to shape global product strategies and market entry plans.
  • Create and refine clear messaging and positioning that resonates with external stakeholders and potential customers.
  • Provide actionable insights to guide the development of product roadmaps and future enhancements.
  • Monitor industry trends and customer feedback to continuously improve product offerings and marketing strategies.
  • Develop training materials and resources to empower sales teams with the knowledge they need to effectively sell the product.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to promote Redgate's products and gather insights from the market.
  • Mentor and guide junior marketing team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of successfully collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams on go-to-market strategies.
  • Experience working in a B2B technology environment, particularly with enterprise sales cycles and complex buying groups.
  • Ability to distill market, competitive, and customer research into clear, actionable messaging and product insights.
  • Demonstrated capability to serve as a strategic partner to sales teams, influencing senior sales personnel and leadership effectively.
  • Strong stakeholder management abilities, with a focus on building cross-functional alignment and trust.
  • In-depth knowledge of core product marketing principles, including positioning, messaging, and competitive intelligence, along with familiarity with demand generation and customer lifecycle marketing.
  • Self-driven individual with excellent organizational skills and a structured approach to project management.
  • Exceptional communication skills, adaptable to various organizational levels and audiences.
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies and sales enablement tools.
  • Experience in the database management or software development industry.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels and techniques.
  • Previous experience in a hybrid work environment, demonstrating adaptability to both remote and in-office settings.
  • A background in data analysis and performance metrics to inform marketing strategies.
