As a Patient Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing the best customer service to patients by greeting them with a warm and friendly smile, handling check‑in/out processes, gathering demographic information, verifying insurance, collecting copayments, and scheduling.

• Serve as the initial contact person at the medical practice or hospital department and greet patients in a courteous and professional manner.
• Manage the intake of patients into the practice, screen for emergent conditions, register, verify and explain patient responsibility for payment.
• Perform check‑in and check‑out procedures by inputting patient charges and verifying demographic and insurance information.
• Coordinate efficient patient flow through the practice or hospital department assigned.
• Support organizational initiatives related to new technology, clinical programs and improving the patient experience.

• 6 months - 1 year of providing high quality customer service required, preferably in a health care setting.
• Working knowledge of IDX/GE centricity business preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR Certification.

This position has a hiring range of $18.33 - $31.61
