Huff Insurance is an insurance agency located in Pasadena MD. With over 64 years of serving families and businesses in Maryland, this agency sticks out from the crowd! We have a full time marketing team, we conduct annual account reviews and we are very active in our community. We are a young, vibrant agency that is growing, and we have an opportunity for a new Customer Service Representative that wants to be on a career path.

The agency has a designed training process that works. You do not need insurance experience we will train you.

We are looking for someone that loves learning. You have to know how to type and be computer savvy. Good communication skills are a must. Wants a position that will lead into a career.

We are hiring a full-time personal lines assistant account manager – NO experience required!

Our Personal Lines Assistant performs the essential function of aiding our business clients with their service needs.

Specific service responsibilities are required in this position to make certain we grow and retain our customer base. We maintain high delivery standards and focus on quality.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and build relationships with internal and external customers and insurance carriers via phone and email.
  • Correspond and maintain contact with advisors regarding new and renewal business
  • Generate certificates of insurance as needed
  • Perform quality control on all new business and document in the account management system.
  • Review applications and endorsements and policies.
  • Download, maintain and update files in the account management system.
  • Prepare and maintain reports as required by management.
Qualifications
  • Property & Casualty licensed preferred BUT not required
  • One year of commercial lines insurance experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building abilities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Detailed-oriented.
