Overview
The Area Manager of Operations will lead and support a group of 8-12 Endodontic, Periodontic and Oral Surgery practices. The Area Manager will oversee day‑to‑day operations of the practices with P&L responsibility and 4‑wall accountability. The successful candidate will work directly with the practices to improve processes & profitability, including identifying and implementing local growth initiatives. The individual will build and maintain exceptional relationships with doctors, practice managers and their teams.
The Area Manager of Operations will balance the need for preserving each unique practice culture and brand, while ensuring future positive growth and innovation.
- Provide leadership, inspiration, mentorship, guidance and career development to group of practice managers focused on day to day practice operations to promote teamwork and high‑quality patient service.
- Cultivate a patient‑centric environment, focusing on smooth operations and efficient patient flow.
- Conduct P&L analysis and manage budgeting. Implement financial strategies to improve profitability.
- Provide training and development opportunities for practice leaders.
- Monitor and analyze key metrics for day‑to‑day operations to ensure efficient and profitable operations.
- Oversee and execute the on‑boarding and transition of new practice partnerships.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of experience in a multi‑site leadership role
- 5+ years of dental or healthcare operational experience
Preferred
Skills:
- Previous Dental Practice Management experience
- Healthcare Operations experience
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $110,000 per year.
