Registered Nurse - On Call

Overview

DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse for a hospital setting to support patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. The role involves empathetic, compassionate care and collaboration with a small interdisciplinary team.

  : 2-3 shifts per week, shifts between 6 pm – 6 am, Monday through Friday, 40 hours of on-call pay per week.

• Be part of a team that supports and relies on each other in a positive environment. Staff RNs are a central part of an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.

• Deliver care to patients with multiple co-morbidities requiring unique treatment plans and a broad range of nursing skills.

• Oversee a group of patients with the support of Patient Care Technicians to conduct patient observations, measure stats and set up machines.

• Work daily in a fast-paced hospital setting delivering dialysis to patients within a contracted healthcare system.

• Provide specialty nephrology care across various settings (ICU, CCU, ED and more) with inpatient dialysis.

• Manage regular and on-call schedules; daily schedule may change based on patient needs.

• DaVita's Inpatient Dialysis Program is Joint Commission Accredited.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

• Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N);
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); or three-year diploma; other substitutions may apply as per policy.

• Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg is helpful but not required.

• Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) is a plus.

• Pre-employment color blind screening; accommodations may be provided.

• Full vaccination against COVID-19 is required by hospitals in this program (including booster when eligible).

• Wage Range: $46.00-$63.00 per hour. Location-specific minimum wage details available.
