• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive, customer‑focused environment.
• Practice safe food handling procedures and adhere to all Meat Department guidelines.
• Receive, store, and grind meats, unload and transport fresh, cured, and boxed meats and poultry, and count and weigh incoming articles.
• Examine meats in storage, rotate inventory to avoid aging, and clean and sanitize work areas.
• Assist customers with questions and special orders, and direct them to product locations.
• Follow the “Clean as You Go” and “Fresh at 4” programs.

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of math, weights and measures.
• Dependable, reliable, and capable of performing related duties as assigned.
• Outgoing, friendly, and enthusiastic with strong customer interaction skills.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction in a team environment.
• Perform general housekeeping and maintain a clean work area.
• Adhere to all safety, health, weights and measures regulations, and company recipes.
• Capable of standing for up to 8 hours per shift and walking up to 2 miles per shift.
• Good vision for using knives, saws, grinders, and other food‑handling equipment.
• Ability to lift and move products weighing 25–90 lbs. horizontally or vertically; operate pallet jack for up to 500 lbs.; lift, pull, and move racks up to 70 lbs. and tables up to 70 lbs.

$15.55 – $21.30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
