The Senior Technician, Facility Services, HVAC/Refrigeration, leads the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. This role oversees preventive maintenance programs, manages refrigeration units, and coordinates field teams to optimize system performance. The position requires effective documentation, vendor coordination, and adherence to regulatory protocols. Additionally, the Senior Technician provides hands‑on training, supports critical service needs, and drives continuous improvements by evaluating new technologies and refining operational processes to meet evolving business priorities.

• Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC/R systems, including ductwork, control panels, and refrigeration units.
• Lead diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues across commercial and industrial equipment.
• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime.
• Manage refrigerant handling, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and HVAC/R codes.
• Coordinate and mentor field teams, providing hands‑on training and evaluating skill development.
• Maintain parts inventory, vendor relationships, and service schedules to meet operational priorities.
• Participate in on‑call rotation to support critical business needs outside regular hours.

• Proven expertise in installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC/R systems, including refrigeration units and control panels.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant‑related issues in commercial and industrial environments.
• Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA standards, EPA refrigerant handling protocols, and federal, state, and local HVAC/R codes.
• Experience leading field teams, mentoring technicians, and managing escalated service issues effectively.
• Ability to manage parts inventory, vendor relationships, and coordinate service calls to meet business priorities.
• Skilled in documenting work orders with detailed notes and photographic evidence.
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement in facility services operations.
