Asset Accountant

• Gain hands-on ownership of the complete fixed asset lifecycle, from acquisition through disposal.
• Build expertise working with multiple ERP, reporting, and financial systems used across the organization.
• Play a key role in month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes.
• Expand your technical accounting knowledge with exposure to depreciation, CIP accounting, asset transfers, and disposals.
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, and operations teams across the business.
• Develop strong analytical and reconciliation skills through variance investigation and financial reporting activities.
• Work in a detail-oriented role where your accuracy directly impacts financial reporting integrity.
• Gain valuable experience with reporting, consolidation, and business intelligence tools used in corporate accounting environments.

• Maintain fixed asset records and ensure accurate asset tracking across financial systems.
• Process monthly depreciation and prepare related journal entries.
• Reconcile fixed asset balances to the general ledger and resolve variances.
• Manage asset disposals, transfers, and reclassifications, including CIP-to-fixed asset transfers.
• Prepare monthly fixed asset reconciliations and reporting schedules.
• Support financial reporting by maintaining accurate asset data and documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of accounting experience with exposure to fixed asset accounting preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting/consolidation platforms;
  Microsoft Dynamics NAV, JD Edwards, and One Stream are preferred
• Understanding of U.S. GAAP and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
