We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our energetic team in the Retail/wholesale industry. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to bring your expertise to a thriving and fast-paced setting. The successful candidate will play a significant role in managing and overseeing the financial aspects of our business, including cash applications, cash reconciliation, payables, and vendor management.

• 1. Overseeing all cash applications and cash reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• 2. Managing payables and ensuring all financial obligations are met in a timely manner.
• 4. Preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• 5. Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
• 6. Ensuring compliance with all internal policies and relevant regulations and ensuring all accounting activities align with the set financial laws and guidelines.
• 7. Proactively analyzing financial data and presenting financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
• 8. Collaborating with the financial team and other business units to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
• 9. Participating in special projects and performing ad hoc analysis and reporting as required.

• 1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA would be a plus.
• 2. A minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the wholesale industry.
• 3. Proficiency in cash applications, cash reconciliation, payables, and vendor management.
• 4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
• 5. Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• 6. Strong computer skills, particularly with accounting software, spreadsheets, and financial analysis tools.
• 7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information and complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
• 8. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound financial decisions.
• 9. Ability to work independently, manage large, complex projects, and meet deadlines.
