Accounting Clerk; AP​/AR

Job #: 43390, Accounting Clerk (AP/AR) Needed ASAP, Contract to Hire, Pay to $22 hourly, Pasadena location

• Financial Data Entry & Bookkeeping:
  • Post and update customer information
  • Input vendor, and general ledger transactions in accounting system
• Accounts Payable (AP) & Receivable (AR):
  • Match invoices to purchase orders
  • Record incoming bills
  • Issue customer invoices
  • Track or follow up on overdue accounts (collections)
• Reconciliation:
  • Help reconcile bank statements
  • Reconcile credit card charges
  • Collect receipts and expense reports
  • Reconcile petty cash logs
• Administrative Support:
  • Answer phones, greet visitors, sort incoming/outgoing mail, and manage office supply inventories
• Record Keeping & Auditing:
  • File receipts, invoices, contracts
  • Maintain payroll documents
  • Organize documentation for periodic internal or external audits
• Customer & Vendor Service:
  • Handle basic billing inquiries
  • Resolve payment discrepancies
  • Maintain professional vendor/client relations

• Solid Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• 1+ yrs experience in similar role
• Knowledge of AP/AR – 1 yr in accounting centric group or some responsibility for accounting tasks
• Advanced data entry skills
• Attention to detail
