Lanier & Associates, Consulting Engineers, Inc is a leading marine engineering firm committed to delivering exceptional service and support to our clients with five offices located in Louisiana and Texas. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional receptionist to be the welcoming face of our Beaumont, TX office. We anticipate a Hire Date in Early March 2026.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and staff with a warm and professional attitude
  • Answer, screen, and direct phone calls and emails.
  • Organize and issue the company’s daily summary and employee PTO schedules on an as needed basis
  • Manage front desk operations and clerical work
  • Schedule appointments, coordinate and prepare conference rooms for meetings and lunch presentations. Manage and place lunch orders
  • Schedule travel arrangements for employees and clients
  • Schedule and coordinate employee safety training, drug testing, flu vaccinations
  • Manage and order grocery, office supplies, mail, packages
  • Maintain tidy and organized reception, supply room, and kitchen areas
  • Kitchen and conference room cleaning and restocking
  • Coordinate with building management for office maintenance and janitorial needs
  • Assist with office computer related issues and employee on/off boarding
  • Coordinate office parties and other festive occasions
  • Coordinate gift/flower deliveries on company’s behalf
  • Other miscellaneous activities to support the daily office operations
Qualifications
  • 2 yr degree in related field; additional administrative training is a plus
  • Prior receptionist or administrative experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
