We are seeking a dedicated, team-oriented, driven, and efficient Buyer to join the PURIS Team. This role entails working in partnership with our Operations, Fleet, and Procurement teams. The Buyer will be responsible for evaluating requirements, and procuring material to support the needs of the business.

• Prepare accurate RFQ’s and solicits bids for materials and services.
• Issue purchase orders and confirm order acknowledgment from suppliers.
• Provide consistent and timely updates for any changes related to PO delivery dates.
• Consistently monitor and manage supplier performance as it relates to quality and service.
• Actively address and resolve any deviations or invoice related issues.
• Maintain consistent communication with internal customers to ensure accurate planning, scheduling, receiving, accounting, inspection, etc.
• Determine and initiate follow through on the appropriate action to resolve various issues that may arise during the project or purchasing process.
• Work with existing suppliers and develop new sources to secure materials and services to best fit project needs.
• Review supplier quotes and negotiate terms in order to achieve the best overall value while maintaining quality.
• Communicate any instances of non-conformances to suppliers.
• Complete special projects as necessary.

• 4+ years’ of Buyer or Purchasing experience within the construction, manufacturing, or related industry.
• Proficient with Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to generate advanced reports using Excel and other related software’s
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as Acumatica, Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, or related software.
• Experience with inventory management and utilizing inventory planning software.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration or related discipline (Preferred).
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with peers, suppliers, and customers.
• Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and professionalism when interacting with internal and external personnel.
