Zachry Construction Corporation is seeking a Structures Foreman – Bridge to lead a crew of construction professionals on large bridge projects. This role is responsible for ensuring production goals are met, managing costs, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

The Structures Foreman – Bridge is accountable for crew production, cost reporting, material tracking, and resolving discrepancies. The foreman plans daily and weekly crew activities, reports progress, and updates schedules while supervising the construction of cast‑in‑place and pre‑fabricated concrete components.

• Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Manage and direct the crew to meet production goals and understand daily production cost reports.
• Interact with owners, clients, managers, subcontractors, and employees to maintain positive relationships.
• Execute the work plan by effectively managing crew and equipment.
• Maintain daily timekeeping logs, equipment logs, daily reports, and diaries.
• Educate and train crew on safety, production goals, and equipment maintenance.
• Develop and mentor craft personnel through training opportunities and performance feedback.
• Ensure safe operations and discipline as necessary; report injuries and damages; conduct toolbox talks and safety meetings.
• Track and safeguard assets, limiting vandalism.
• Apply knowledge of rigging, load charts, and soil mechanics.
• Climb ladders and scaffolding; walk on uneven surfaces; stand and walk multiple hours per day.
• Maintain licensed driver status to operate a company pickup truck as required.
• Recruit, interview, and hire qualified applicants; handle disciplinary actions, promotions, demotions, and terminations.
• Understand concrete and rebar types, concrete testing, crane and rigging principles, and forming systems (EFCO/Doka/Wood).
• Follow prescribed pour rates from form manufacturers.
• Possess form and rough carpentry skills.
• Understand Bidwell Setup and Bridge Paving.
• Direct finishing operations for structural concrete, flat work, foundations, elevated roadway, and point and patch.

• 3+ years of heavy civil construction experience with concrete structures.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• Strong prioritization, organizational, and detail‑oriented skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Dependable, self‑motivated, and task‑oriented.
• Ability to work outside 90% of scheduled hours and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with Mobile Timecard (a plus).
• Spanish bilingual preferred.
• Licensed, approved driver of a company pickup truck or similar vehicle.
• Capability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and walk uneven surfaces.
