Member Services Representative

The Member Services Representative will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Handle all front desk activities including:
  • Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions.
  • Check members into the system.
  • Sign up new members.
  • Take prospective members on tours.
• Facilitate updates to members' accounts.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and neatness of the club.

• Preferred background in customer service.
• Basic computer skills.
• A passion for fitness and health.
• Upbeat and positive attitude.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
• Excellent customer service skills; able to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers, exceeding expectations.
• Strong listening skills with the ability to empathize and solve problems.
• Diplomatic in all interactions, using appropriate behavior and language.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.

• Standing and walking continuously during shifts.
• Talking in person or on the phone throughout the shift.
• Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
