Our office, Gulf Coast Endodontics - Pasadena, in Pasadena, TX, is seeking an Insurance Coordinator to join our busy specialty practice.

As an Insurance Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the maximum benefits from their insurance coverage while delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Your Responsibilities
  • Verify patients' dental insurance coverage and benefits.
  • Communicate with insurance companies to obtain pre‑authorizations for treatments.
  • Assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage and estimated costs.
  • Submit accurate and timely insurance claims electronically and via mail.
  • Follow up on outstanding insurance claims, appeals, and denials.
  • Manage patient balances (accounts receivable).
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of dental insurance policies and industry changes.
  • Collaborate with the front desk and clinical teams to ensure accurate patient information and treatment codes.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing insurance‑related inquiries and concerns.
  • Educate patients on available payment options for uncovered services.

You also have the following:

  • Previous experience as a dental insurance coordinator or in OMFS/Dental/Medical office preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail‑oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Proficiency in dental practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Problem‑solving skills to navigate insurance claim discrepancies and denials.
  • High level of professionalism and a patient‑centric attitude.

Position Base Pay Range: $19.25 USD - $21 USD
