Assistant Professor of Early Modern English Literature Job Pasadena area,Texas USA,Education / Teaching

The Division of the Humanities and Social Sciences at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) invites applications for a tenure-track position in early modern English literature atthe assistant professor rank, beginning fall 2027. The successful candidate will join an interdisciplinary humanities group and willbe expected to teach four seminar-style undergraduate courses annually, distributed across three quarters. The initial appointment as an assistant professor is contingent upon completion of a PhD in a relevant field.

The initial appointment fortenure-track positions is normally four years. Reappointment beyondthe initial term is contingent upon successful review conductedprior to the commencement of the fourth year.
