As a Paramedic ED PRN, you will collect and convey patient information to team members and the attending physician, perform duties under the competency assessment of the Physician Medical Director, report to the Director of Emergency Services, and maintain patient safety through active communication and documentation.

• Accurately collects and records vital signs, weight, height, intake & output.
• Answers and receives patient report from EMS on radio (no orders over radio).
• Receives EMS hand‑off reports at facility.
• Assists in admission, transfer and discharge of patients.
• Utilizes SBAR for communication.
• Assists licensed nurse with performance of treatments and procedures.
• Inserts IVs / IOs; discontinues IVs.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Paramedic license must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• High School Graduate / GED.
