Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a detail-oriented Technical Writer in Pasadena, TX. In this high-impact and collaborative role, you will be responsible for building out crucial compliance documentation and helping shape processes as our client actively pursues ISO 14001 certification. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed a Technical Writer (Environmental) job you’ll be responsible for:
Writing, reviewing, and formatting site environmental procedures using established templates.
Partnering directly with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather complex information and translate it into clear, standardized technical documentation.
Organizing, updating, and maintaining centralized document structures and procedure libraries.
Utilizing advanced Excel functions (data reconciliation, complex formulas, pivot tables) to audit, organize, and track compliance data.
Assisting with the development and logistics of site-wide regulatory compliance training.
Supporting internal audits and reviews of standards, policies, and operational procedures.
What you’ll need:
Strong background in technical writing, procedure writing, and document control/management.
Advanced Excel skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and departments.
Prior experience in the environmental sector is a plus.
Details:
Monday-Friday, 8A-5P $25-$30/hr Contract Role, 6 month estimated project
