Expediter

Elliott Electric Supply is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Expeditor to help ensure customer orders and shipments are processed accurately and delivered on time. This position coordinates with vendors, freight carriers, warehouse personnel, sales, and purchasing teams to monitor order status, resolve delays, manage inventory shortages, and keep shipments moving efficiently. Core responsibilities inlude: order processing, vendor and carrier communication, inventory management, shipping and receiving coordination, shipment tracking and reporting, project and quote support, problem resolution, internal coordination and additional duties as needed.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Three (3) years of work experience in a similar setting preferred. Basic knowledge of the electrical industry preferred. Computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe applications. Mathematical skills, including the ability to perform basic calculations accurately and efficiently. Strong organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, vendors, and transportation providers. Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Ability to frequently bend, lift, and climb. Ability to remain alert and perform all duties in a safe manner. Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.
