Painter – Austin Industrial; Pasadena, TX

Job Description

Austin Industrial is currently seeking a Painter to join our staff located at Pasadena, TX. They must be able to ensure all painting needs are conducted in a safe, efficient, accurate, and timely manner. Other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible for the safe preparation and painting of parts and equipment.
• Paint products using appropriate skills including, but not limited to, brush, roller, and spray equipment.
• Use safe working practices as directed.
• Perform assigned tasks under the direction of Manager or their designate and participate as an effective crew member.
• Bring technical problems encountered to the Manager or their designate for resolution.
• Work to improve efficiency to achieve productivity and delivery goals.
• Organize and maintain personal and company tools, equipment, and work area in a professional manner.
• Responsible to follow all applicable company and corporate policies, procedures and programs, including but not limited to the process map, support processes, safety and environmental requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Experience — 5 years of Journeyman level experience.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid NCCER preferred not required
• Valid Driver’s License
• Valid TWIC card
• Meet physical demands as listed above
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed by the assigned location
• Ability to operate power tools and heavy equipment
