Title: Quality Control Laboratory Technician
Position Type: 6 month contract with additional opportunity contingent upon performance and continued business need
Job Location: Pasadena, TX
Shift: alternating day/night: 4am–4pm / 4pm–4am

Compensation: $25/HR-$35/HR

• The Laboratory Analyst supports the Production Department by testing process and final product samples and ensuring all analyses follow strict SOPs and calibration standards.
• Analyze process samples
• Analyze final product samples
• Evaluate results for consistency with plant conditions
• Perform routine calibration of laboratory equipment
• Conduct non-routine testing using approved procedures
• Support the Lab Manager, Chemist, and Day Technician

• 1–2 years of laboratory experience in a plant setting or a related internship (entry-level friendly)
• Familiarity with shift schedule (alternating day/night: 4am–4pm / 4pm–4am)
• Previous shift-work experience
• Hands‑on experience with GC, AA, titration, and polymer testing equipment
• Experience calibrating and standardizing lab test equipment and preparing reagents
• Ability to troubleshoot questionable test results
• Strong multitasking skills in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Commitment to safety
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
