Ketjen Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Albemarle Corporation, is seeking an I/E Technician to join our maintenance team. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing Instrument/Electrical Equipment.

• Use of test equipment (DVM, megger, loop calibrator, temp calibrator, amp meter and HART communicator)
• Read electrical/instrument schematics/loop diagrams
• Read P&
• Temperature measurement (RTD's thermocouples)
• Pressure measurement (all types)
• Flow measurement (Magnetic flow, Coriolis, DP)
• Level measurement (DP, ultrasonic, radar & Nuclear)
• Conductivity measurement
• Density measurement (Coriolis and Nuclear)
• PH measurement, control, and theory
• Automatic control valves – rebuilding of valves (Fisher, Masoneilan)
• Valves positioners – electronic & pneumatic (Fisher, Masoneilan, PMV)
• Experience with gas fired BMS systems (Honeywell, fireye & others)
• 480V and greater MCCs and switch gear
• VFD's – Troubleshooting, wiring, and programming (ABB, AB & Yaskawa)

• Strong knowledge of National Electrical Codes, IEEE & ISA Standards, and Electrical Safety in the workplace (NFPA 70E)
• Must be self-motivated and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interface effectively with wide range of technical, analytical, and managerial personnel.
• Ability to lead execution of work and resolve technical and operational issues in a cross-functional team environment.
• Experience using MS Excel, Word.
• Working knowledge of PLC and DCS systems.
• Experience with SAP preferred.

• HS Diploma or GED
• 3-5 years’ minimum experience as a E/I technician in an industrial environment
