Job Summary:

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Rapid Response for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and we are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. We want you to apply now!

What You Will Do In Your Role:

• You will be responsible to respond for all RRTs (Rapid Response calls), Code Blue, Code Sepsis, and Code Stroke.
• You will communicate daily with each charge nurse to identify high risk patients.
• You will be responsible to monitor surgery schedule and rounds on any “at risk” post op patients.
• You will take on the role of educator and provides support and education to staff as needed.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in Intensive Care or Emergency Department.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification is required
• Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification is required
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt
• Trauma Nursing Core Course
• Associate Degree Required, BSN Preferred
