American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a 13-week assignment requiring 2+ years of operating room experience across multiple surgical specialties.

• Operating Room unit with 10 beds and 54 staff members
• 1:1 patient ratios with multi-specialty equipment
• EMR is Meditech, currently converting to Expanse
• Day shift schedule from
• Night shift coverage is on-call only
• Performs open, laparoscopic, and robotic general cases including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and some bariatric procedures
• Performs robotic orthopedic cases including total knees, hips, and trauma orthopedics
• Performs laparoscopic and robotic gynecological cases including hysterectomies and tubal ligations, as well as emergent interventions
• No floating required
• On-call required weekly and one weekend per month

• Active RN license (TX or compact)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Experience in orthopedics, general surgery, urology, and gynecology surgical cases required
• ENT and vascular (non-cardiac) experience preferred
• Pediatric experience preferred
• BSN preferred
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Team player with initiative and drive who can help keep the operative schedule on track
• Cobalt blue scrub attire required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• No local candidates will be considered
