Job Description
  • Position: QA/QC Inspector
  • Location: 11200 Bay Area Boulevard, Pasadena, TX, USA 77507
  • Mode of Work: Onsite
  • Mode of Interview: In person Interview
  • Assignment: 3-to-6-month assignment — position will convert to FTE based on performance
Description / Responsibilities

Under direct supervision, responsible for performing quality evaluations on standard and routine processes and products according to engineering drawings, specifications, prescribed methods, and instructions. Performs inspection of various operations activities. Identifies and reports non‑conformance to known standards using various measuring and testing methods. May perform final adjustments. Generates reports of conditions found during inspection activities, notifies operations and Quality Assurance/Quality Control management of significant problems, completes documentation necessary to attest to satisfactory completion of inspection or test activities.

May be responsible for conducting the magnetic particle and penetrant testing of parts and initiating and processing non‑conformance reports. Assures that all products and processes represent the desired quality, safety, efficiency and reliability levels.

Qualifications
  • Completion of a high school diploma or GED and a minimum 1 year of experience is required.
  • 3-5 years’ experience which includes Quality and/or Industry experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor of Chemistry preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge that this is an entry-level position.
Training & Schedule

Training:

  • First week: five 8‑hour days (M‑F) from 8 – 4.
  • Second week: four 10‑hour nights (M‑Th) from 8 – 6.
  • Third week: two 8‑hour nights (M‑Tu) from 8 – 4 and two 12‑hour nights (W‑Th) from 6 – 6.
  • Fourth week: two 8‑hour days (M‑Tu) from 8 – 4 and two 12‑hour days (W‑Th) from 6 – 6.

Shift

Schedule:

  • 7 days from 6 – 6, 7 days off.
  • 7 nights from 6 – 6, 3 days off.
  • 4 short nights from 8 – 6, 7 days off.
  • Repeat from 1.

Position is 100% on site.
