• Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment
• Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and cooking methods
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines accurately
• Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, measuring, and preparation of meals according to recipes and dietary requirements
• Cook food items using various cooking methods such as baking, grilling, and sautéing
• Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient meal service
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as knives, ovens, and grills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Have experience in restaurants and have (or willing to obtain) a food handler’s card.
• Must have the capability to bend, stretch, and reach for objects. Ability to frequently use stairs, handle or move boxes of product/supplies, push/pull, reach, squat, kneel, ascend/descend, bend and/or twist.
• Should be able to constantly communicate and have visual acuity near and far.
