Retail Keyholder (Store 2205) – Game Stop

With moderate supervision, the Retail Keyholder assists the store management team in executing and supervising all store activities. The role focuses on outstanding guest service, sales support, and maintaining a clean, organized shopping environment.

• Provide best‑in‑class guest service: greet guests, respond to inquiries promptly, and guide them in meeting their gaming needs.
• Promote Game Stop’s programs such as Title Reservations and Pro Rewards.
• Process purchases and returns accurately via the POS system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and merchandised store, including restrooms.
• Complete Omni‑Channel orders daily and safeguard company assets through inventory control and loss prevention.
• Conduct inventory counts, restock merchandise, and ensure products are displayed alphabetically on the sales floor.
• Support management in meeting sales, profit, and shrink goals, and complete required administrative duties.
• Reconcile daily business totals in the POS system and handle bank deposits.
• Process shipments, defectives, and recalls while adhering to company labeling standards.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to sales associates when management is absent.
• Follow all opening and closing procedures and observe associate performance.

• Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to work alone, stand, and move throughout the store for up to 10 hours per day.

• Meet associate performance expectations, including attendance, dress, and grooming.
• Operate the POS system and complete required paperwork accurately.

• Follow written or oral instructions.
• Perform bank deposits with safety guidelines.
• Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays (minimum 3 days per week).
• Work under pressure and handle stress calmly.
• Physical ability to bend, lift up to 30 lbs., and climb ladders.

Full‑time store positions may participate in incentive programs, 401(k), paid time off, dental, vision, and health insurance, and eligibility for bonuses and other incentives.

$8.50 – $11.25 per hour
