JOB SUMMARY:The Sales Manager is responsible to aggressively prospecting for new business and secure additional business from existing customers. Additionally, will focus on providing the highest levels of customer service while enhancing operational profitability. Responsible for the growth, and achievement of revenue goals and ownership of the relationship with our accounts.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- ES:
Develop and secure new custom - ers Build rapport and nurture long term partnerships with new and existing custom
- ersWork with the senior leadership team to identify new avenues for profitable growth

Collaborate with the operations team to review and respond to complex, large business request for proposal - ls.
Develop a deep understanding of Action Resources services and effectively translate into value for prospects and customers - rs.
Prepare professional job quotes and freight shipping rates - es.
Responsible for the revenue margin, growth, transportation margin and goal achievement for the designated customers - rs.
Developing relationships with operational personnel to support the business - ess Accountable to monitor the cost/benefit relationship for all promotional and creative marketing initiatives
- ems Perform any directly related appropriate duties assigned the Vice President of Sales; perform assigned duties with minimum personal supervision
- MENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience - rience
Demonstrated technical knowledge within the chemical transportation industry - ustry.
Expertise and professionalism in customer contacts, sales process and analysis and resolution of problems or complaints - Strong relationships with customers that manage chemical transportation in North America
- Track record of consistently achieving or beating sales quota
- Strong work ethic, be self-motivated and confident
- Excellent communication (written & verbal) and relationship building skills
- Ability to base decisions on a high standard of ethics and principles, back up words with actions, and is scrupulously honest
- 7+ years of experience in the transportation industry required. Preference to Bulk Chemical
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
