Job Description
Reports To: PCO Director
Direct Reports: None
Territory: NC, SC, GA, FL
Role Summary
This role will oversee and execute all selling activities within the designated territory, supporting customers and end‑users. The function serves as a product expert, building strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction with CSI products.
Duties and Responsibilities- Achieve sales, profit, and market share targets with channel partners and end users in the assigned territory as part of the overall sales and marketing plan for the division.
- Act as a steward of the CSI portfolio by making recommendations and managing complaints/issues in the field as needed, in partnership with the Technical Service Managers.
- Develop and execute a territory plan by expanding market awareness of our products through communicating features and benefits of products successfully.
- Communicate sales and marketing opportunities with existing and new business opportunities.
- Identify and resolve any customer concerns and recommend a course of action to alleviate future concerns; communicate to leadership quickly on corrective actions.
- Participate in meetings, training sessions, trade shows, conferences, webinars, and professional development opportunities corporately and with existing customer base.
- Maintain awareness of pertinent customer information, future plans, payment performance, and communicate any information that would affect company decisions.
- Maintain an understanding and knowledge of competitor products and programs by identifying and reporting intelligence on pricing and marketing strategies.
- Submit ongoing territory reports via to include daily activities, competitor information, and customer interaction.
- Highly motivated self‑starter who can work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
- High level of initiative, creative thinking, decision making, and problem resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and timelines.
- Inherent ability to influence with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to gain trust.
- BS/BA (preferably) in Ag Business or Marketing.
- Ability to travel extensively within territory (80% of the time).
- Reliable transportation with clean driving record.
- Goal of becoming successful in performing territory development activities and personal growth opportunities within Control Solutions.
- Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
