Role

Summary

This role will oversee and execute all selling activities within the designated territory targeted to support customers and end‑users. The function serves as a product expert, developing strong business relationships with customers and ensuring their support and satisfaction with CSI products.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Achieving sales, profit, and market share targets with channel partners and end users within the assigned territory as part of the overall sales and marketing plan for the division.
  • Act as a steward of the CSI portfolio by making recommendations and managing complaints/issues in the field as needed, in partnership with the Technical Service Managers.
  • Develop and execute a territory plan by expanding market awareness of our products through communicating features and benefits of products successfully.
  • Communicate sales and marketing opportunities with existing and new business opportunities.
  • Identify and resolve any customer concerns and recommend a course of action to alleviate future concerns. Communicate to leadership quickly on corrective actions.
  • Participate in meetings, training sessions, trade shows, conferences, webinars, and professional development opportunities corporately and with existing customer base.
  • Maintain awareness of pertinent customer information, future plans, payment performance, and communicate any information that would affect company decisions.
  • Maintain an understanding and knowledge of competitor products and programs by identifying and reporting intelligence on pricing and marketing strategies.
  • Submit ongoing territory reports via  to include daily activities, competitor information, and customer interaction.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and timelines.

Requirements
  • BS/BA (preferably) in Agronomy or industry related.
  • Ability to travel extensively within territory (80% of the time).
  • Reliable transportation with clean driving record.
  • Goal of becoming successful in performing territory development activities and personal growth opportunities within Control Solutions.
  • Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
