General Summary
The Sales Representative is responsible for penetrating new accounts and supporting Account Managers to expand current service offerings, including new service lines not currently utilized by clients.

Essential Job Functions

  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to safety standards and practices, and alerting others to potential hazards.
  • Champion TEAM’s Core Values.
  • Spend 80%+ of time in front of clients developing new opportunities.
  • Manage all activity and customer opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Sell value and understand opportunity costs to maximize profitability.
  • Deliver professional presentations of the company’s value proposition and services.
  • Research and develop new customers and opportunities.
  • Achieve assigned revenue and profit targets monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Collaborate across teams to maximize revenue and profitability, including coordinating with operations on deal pipeline, pricing, and closing opportunities.
  • Maintain periodic contact with existing clients and seek new accounts, without managing project execution.
  • Identify new service lines, products, or capabilities for competitive advantage and report opportunities to management.
  • Understand market trends and contribute to strategic sales planning and growth initiatives.
  • Work with marketing to identify key opportunities for increased market awareness.
  • Pass on new customer or project opportunities outside the assigned territory or industry vertical to appropriate team members.
  • Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • Four to six years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience preferred, especially Salesforce.
  • Work Conditions

    • Position based in the District office.
    • Work conducted in a semi-private office/cubicle setting.
    • Standard hours Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with some flexibility.

    Physical and Mental Requirements

    • Lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
    • Effective communication skills, with or without accommodations.
    • Sit for prolonged periods.
    • Manual dexterity for routine office duties.
    • Mobility and reflexes for office work and travel.
