Opportunity & RoleAbout the Opportunity: This is an excellent opportunity to become the first Bolting Van Technician in our expanding operation in the Golden Triangle region. You will play a pivotal role in establishing and growing our presence in the area, working independently and representing our organization directly with clients in refineries and heavy industries. This role offers significant potential for career advancement within our growing organization.
Role Overview: As our Bolting Van Technician, you will travel independently in a fully equipped service van to customer sites primarily refineries and third party mechanical contractors. Your duties will include performing calibration, repairs, and rentals of hydraulic bolting tools and machinery. You will build strong client relationships, offer technical support, identify additional sales opportunities, and maintain high standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities- Perform on-site calibration, repair, and rental services for bolting and machining tools
- Establish and nurture client relationships, identifying opportunities for further business
- Complete all required documentation accurately, including QA/QC and compliance forms
- Independently manage equipment inventory, logistics, and scheduling
- Provide hands-on training and support to clients on equipment usage
- Independent, organized, proactive, and adaptable
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Safety-conscious with a commitment to compliance
- Experience in calibration and repair of hydraulic bolting tools, torque wrenches, pumps, and gauges
- Valid U.S. driver's license and the ability to obtain necessary security clearances TWIC card preferred
- OSHA 10 certification preferred API Certification advantageous
You will thrive in this role if you are self-motivated, mechanically skilled, and enjoy working independently in a client-facing environment. Experience in similar sectors such as oil and gas, construction, or industrial equipment will be advantageous.
