Railroad Track Maintenance Technician

- Performs track repairs and rebuilds using both power and manual tools
- Removes spikes, drills rail holes, replaces ballast, and installs track fasteners
- Operates hand tools such as shovels, picks, axes, and sledgehammers
- Uses electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic tools including drills, saws, jacks, and grinders
- Lifts and moves rail materials and components as needed
- Assists with re‑railing derailed railcars
- Performs other duties as required to support safe and efficient track operations
- Experience is a plus but not required, and paid on‑the‑job training is available
- May require a valid Driver’s License and / or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location
- 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
- Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
- Wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams
- Speak, write, read fluent English
- Regular on‑site attendance and punctuality is required
- Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus
Monday – Thursday (Must be flexible to work OT as needed)
