Person – JLLWhat this job involves:

As a Utility Person, you will play a vital role in ensuring our client's facility in Pasadena operates smoothly and safely. Working closely with the Facility Manager and Facility Maintenance Engineer, you will perform a variety of semi-skilled maintenance tasks, manage warehouse stock and supplies, and support daily operations to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. This hands‑on position is essential to delivering exceptional service and contributing to JLL's commitment to operational excellence.

What

your day-to-day will look like:

Assist with completing Preventative Maintenance on HVAC systems and other site equipment.
Perform light building maintenance including filter replacement, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and waste management.
Maintain spare and replacement parts inventories; stock parts, equipment, tools, and supplies for maintenance and housekeeping departments.
Receive, process, and organize warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
Collect and properly dispose of production waste and recycling according to site standards.
Coordinate with vendors, facilities staff, and service providers to ensure minimal disruption to client operations.
Operate maintenance and cleaning tools and equipment including general hand tools, floor scrubbers, forklifts, and pallet jacks.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of experience in facility maintenance, warehouse operations, or production support.
Experience with general hand tools, basic troubleshooting, and minor repairs.
Forklift and mobile equipment operation experience.
Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects weighing 25+ pounds.
Strong customer service skills and ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
Ability to multitask and work independently or with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of HVAC systems and preventative maintenance practices.
Familiarity with facility safety procedures and compliance standards.
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial facility environment.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and work orders.
Basic computer skills for inventory management and work order tracking.

Location:

Pasadena, CA

Work Shift:

Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Salary/Comp: $28.84/hour

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Expected compensation for this position: 60,000.00 – 60,320.00 USD per year // Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
