Summer Swim Instructors

Job Description

As a Swim Instructor at Battleground Area Swim Team, you will lead swimming programs and provide customized individual and group lessons for children of different ages and skill levels. Ideal for students, this role requires a deep passion for swimming, strong communication skills, and the ability to inspire young swimmers to love and respect the water. We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team in Pasadena, TX.

Responsibilities

• Provide swim instruction for students of all ages and skill levels

• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment

• Monitor student progress and offer feedback

Requirements

• Experience working with students in educational or instructional settings

• Proficient in various swim strokes and techniques

• Knowledge of water safety and survival skills

• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)

• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills

• Strong behavior management abilities

• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is a plus

• Passion for swimming and working with children
