The Adult Therapist and Quality Assurance Coordinator serves in a dual role, providing direct clinical services to adult clients while also overseeing quality assurance programs at South Mississippi Mental Health Center. This position ensures high standards of service delivery through robust quality assurance protocols while maintaining a clinical caseload and providing therapeutic services.

• Meets service delivery requirements as established by Supervisor.
• Always maintains client confidentiality.
• Provides assessments, individual, group, and family therapy in compliance with DMH standards.
• Maintains case record documentation that is adequate, appropriate, complete, and timely.
• Works with treatment team to collect necessary information for PA submission; assists with PA process as assigned.
• Attends and participates appropriately in clinical staffing.
• Responds to client's needs in an appropriate and timely manner.
• Demonstrates appropriate interactions with coworkers that promote a pleasant work environment.
• Seeks professional certification and/or licensure and clinical training opportunities.
• Provides clinical supervision for day treatment programs when assigned.
• Participate in interagency collaboration for the provision of client services when assigned.
• Serves as lead or back‑up emergency on‑call person when requested to do so.

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality assurance programs.
• Lead accreditation processes and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Design and conduct internal audits of clinical documentation and service delivery.
• Analyze performance data and prepare reports for leadership and board meetings.
• Implement continuous quality improvement initiatives across all departments.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures in accordance with best practices.
• Coordinate with clinical leadership to ensure service quality meets or exceeds standards.
• Facilitate resolution of quality‑related issues and monitor corrective action plans.

• Master’s degree in behavioral science or related field.
• Clinical licensure or eligible for certification through the Mississippi Department of Mental Health.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Clinical licensure or DMH certification within 30 days of hire and maintained throughout duration of employment.
• Satisfactory completion of CPR prior to reporting to the work site.
• Satisfactory completion of CPI within 30 days of employment.
• Valid driver's license and current auto liability insurance.
• Ability to transport clients in private vehicles when necessary.
• Completion of annual training in compliance with DMH standards.
