Crisis DSP ; Overnight shift

Overview

Brandi's Hope is looking for a Crisis Support Direct Support Professional. The Direct Support Professional should possess strong interactive skills and a positive, creative, and energetic attitude to support people with intellectual/developmental disabilities who have challenging communication and behaviors.

Good communication and a team-oriented outlook are necessary attributes for success.

Full benefit package for qualified applicants. This position offers 80 hours of paid time off annually and paid training time. The starting pay is $14.00 per hour with a set, guaranteed schedule of 45 hours per week. DSPs are eligible for an earned perfect attendance bonus: 3 hours of overtime pay for a perfect attendance each weekly shift. After successful completion of 90 days of employment, the rate of pay will increase to $15.00 per hour.

Hours:

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 7pm - 7am and Wednesday 7pm-1am.

• Provide daily support to individuals with varying degrees of development/intellectual disabilities.
• Assist these individuals within self-care, recreational activities, and community inclusion.
• Transport to appointments, assist with feeding, hygiene, and other daily life skills as needed.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED; minimum of one year of verifiable work experience in the last three years.
• Current valid driver's license to transport clients as needed.
• Current CPR training.
• Must submit to an extensive background check and drug screening before employment offer.
