WhatYou Will Do
- Lead a small team of engineers to perform equipment installation and checkout as well as HW and FW upgrades; report results and maintain records as required.
- Plan, coordinate, execute, and report status of integration and stage test events.
- Report to internal program leadership and coordinate with customer program office, platform leadership, and Navy technical offices (ISEA/TWH).
- Drive solutions to multiple simultaneous technical issues with various priority levels.
- Physical requirements of this position will include: the ability to work in confined spaces, climb stairs, lift and carry 35 lbs., work in an industrial environment, and live/work for short periods at sea onboard a US Navy vessel.
- Travel is required, travel expected is 40–50% domestically.
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with LINUX and/or Unix.
- Experience with US Naval vessels.
- Experience with test, system test management, and/or system integration.
- AGILE/Scrum experience.
- Experience with the Zumwalt platform and Total Ship Computing Environment.
- Experience in engineering or military leadership role.
- Experience working directly with a military customer/end user.

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
