Territory Manager – NPAworldwide
We are hiring a Territory Manager to provide industrial hardware directly to customers within a defined geographic territory through cold‑calling and prospecting activities. Applicants must reside within the territory.
Responsibilities- Develop new sales prospects through research, referrals, and calling on other businesses in close proximity to existing customers.
- Make face‑to‑face calls on cold and warm prospects.
- Serve customers according to company training materials.
- Submit complete and accurate daily business reports detailing sales orders and prospect calls.
- Present products and services to existing and prospective customers using sample boards, product demos, and the mobile store.
- Maintain the cleanliness, operation, marketing, and functionality of the mobile store.
- Continuously update customer contact information using company software (notes, phone numbers, email addresses, and current physical address).
- Provide an approved fully insured vehicle, covering insurance, fuel, maintenance, and necessary instruments (tablets, iPads, phones).
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to improve job‑related skills.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Industrial sales experience preferred, especially route or industrial sales.
- Proven history of goal attainment.
- Excellent analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills.
- Detail‑oriented.
- Clear verbal and written communication.
- Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, email, and common business applications.
- Working knowledge of the products we sell is helpful.
- Must be able to purchase or lease an approved vehicle (mobile store).
- Must reside within the territory.
- Above‑average mechanical interest.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to kneel and bend to the floor regularly.
- Clean driving history.
- Conduct oneself professionally when representing the company (approved vehicle, company attire, company functions).
3rd generation family‑owned and operated; 10‑year average employee tenure with a 90% retention rate.
